Privacy Policy
Nova Core is a private, single-user project. This policy explains the limited way it interacts with Google user data.
1. About Nova
Nova is a personal correspondence and memory companion. It lets its owner send a request by email and receive a useful response. It is not a public or multi-user service.
2. Google data accessed
Nova requests the OAuth scopehttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify. It may access the sender and recipient, subject, message content, message identifiers, timestamps, thread information, and labels needed to receive the owner's requests and send responses. Nova does not request access to other Google services.
3. How the data is used
Google user data is used only to:
- receive and understand requests sent to Nova;
- provide the requested personal productivity features;
- send acknowledgements, results, or error messages;
- organize processed messages and maintain service reliability.
The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Storage and retention
Authorization credentials and tokens are kept in a secured application environment accessible only to the owner. Information derived from messages may be retained only as needed to provide continuity, honor the owner's requests, resolve errors, and keep required security or recovery records.
When ordinary message content is no longer needed, it is deleted or reduced to a compact record. Gmail messages remain subject to the owner's Gmail settings and deletion choices.
5. Sharing and Limited Use
Nova does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it for credit decisions or surveillance. It does not use Google user data to train or improve a generalized AI model. Data is not transferred to third parties except when necessary to provide the owner-requested feature, protect security, or comply with law.
6. User control and deletion
The owner may revoke Nova's Google access at any time through Google Account controls. The owner may also stop using Nova, delete relevant Gmail messages, and request deletion of retained information, subject to limited security, recovery, or legal requirements.
7. Security
Nova uses reasonable safeguards intended to protect credentials and user data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Access is limited to the owner and to the functions needed to provide the requested service.
8. Changes and contact
Material changes to Google data access or use will be reflected here before the changed use begins. Questions or deletion requests may be sent tonovar7878@gmail.com.
